Bird Conservation Oregon advocates for the protection of wild birds and the habitats on which they depend across Oregon's urban, rural, and wild landscapes.

We value birds for their intrinsic beauty, for connecting people to nature, for the essential ecosystem services they provide, and as an early warning system for the impacts of ecological degradation and global climate change. In protecting and restoring bird populations across our urban, rural and wild landscapes, we also protect the environments on which we all depend.

Bird Conservation Oregon uses a variety of strategies including partnerships, advocacy, community engagement, research, and litigation to advance bird conservation. Our approach is to collaborate wherever possible, but fight when necessary to preserve wild birds across Oregon.
